CP Azare described false alarms as dangerous acts that can create public panic and undermine trust in law enforcement. He assured residents that the police would take decisive action against anyone spreading misinformation or attempting to destabilize peace in the state.
He urged youth leaders to promote truth, responsible social media use, and collaborate with Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) for early detection and swift resolution of security threats.
The CP also condemned acts of jungle justice, calling them unlawful and barbaric. He warned that anyone involved in mob action would be arrested and prosecuted, stressing the importance of handing over suspects to the police for proper investigation.

Regarding the state government’s recent ban on hostile masquerade activities, CP Azare stated that enforcement has begun. Masquerades are now restricted to village or town hall squares, and prior clearance must be obtained from the Commissioner’s office when necessary.
Youth leaders and community representatives praised the Commissioner for his leadership and commitment to maintaining security.
They pledged support for police efforts, while content creators promised to avoid criminality or disruptive acts in the name of content creation.
