Barcelona fans can now look forward to the debut of Marcus Rashford after the England international was officially registered with La Liga ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The club confirmed that Rashford and goalkeeper Joan García have completed their registrations, making them eligible for the opening fixture against Mallorca.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Rashford, who joined on loan from Manchester United, accepted a 15 per cent salary cut to finalize the deal. The agreement includes a €30 million buyout clause, while Barcelona will cover his full salary package worth €14 million, including performance bonuses.
The forward has already played in four pre-season matches for the Catalan side, scoring once and providing an assist. His anticipated La Liga debut will come on Saturday, August 16, at 6:30 p.m., when Barcelona face Mallorca away.
In another transfer development, Turkish champions Galatasaray have reportedly submitted a formal bid for Manchester City’s Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the opening offer is around €10 million, although City are holding out for a higher fee.
Ederson, 31, has been a mainstay at the Etihad since 2017, winning six Premier League titles, a Champions League, and several domestic trophies. With just one year left on his contract, his market value is estimated at €20 million.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain’s Gianluigi Donnarumma has emerged as a possible replacement for Ederson at City if the Brazilian departs. Reports suggest the Italian international, valued at €40 million, has already agreed on personal terms with the English champions.
