The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has affirmed that it will not interfere in the defamation case involving TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as Seaking, and its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a statement issued on Monday, the church emphasized that the law must take its course and that RCCG will not obstruct police investigations.

The statement, signed by the Public Relations Unit of the Office of the Principal Executive Assistant to the General Overseer, reiterated Pastor Adeboye’s commitment to love and reconciliation. However, it stressed the importance of allowing the relevant authorities to complete their investigations and reach appropriate conclusions.
Furthermore, the church condemned cyberbullying and defamatory statements targeting Pastor Adeboye and the Christian faith at large.
Addressing a viral video where Pastor Adeboye previously called for Seaking’s release, RCCG clarified that the pronouncement was made before the alleged defamatory videos surfaced. After reviewing the clips, the church believes it is now necessary to let the law take its course.
