Developed by TY Holdings, the facility represents a significant boost to Nigeria’s logistics and supply chain infrastructure.
The governor said: “Lagos recently achieved the top spot in Nigeria’s latest Subnational Ease of Doing Business report released by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC), scoring 85.6 per cent and emerging as the country’s best-performing investment destination. This ranking reflects our consistent reforms, infrastructure upgrades and deliberate policies to make Lagos the most attractive market for enterprise and innovation.”

Sanwo-Olu inaugurated the 29,000-square-metre logistics facility alongside Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, praising TY Holdings for its sustained confidence in Lagos and describing the development as “a landmark investment that strengthens Lagos’ economic narrative.”
He added that the project supports Alaro City’s emergence as a leading industrial hub in sub-Saharan Africa, aligning with Lagos’ wider economic strategy to modernise logistics, attract foreign investment and promote sustainable growth.
Highlighting ongoing efforts to improve mobility and trade efficiency along the Lekki corridor, the governor noted plans for a dedicated road linking Lekki Port, Dangote Refinery, and Alaro City to ease congestion on the Lekki-Epe Expressway. He also revealed that Lagos is constructing the largest food logistics hub in West Africa.
Governor Kefas commended the initiative, emphasising Taraba State’s role in facilitating inter-state economic collaboration, particularly in moving agricultural produce to Lagos’ processing hubs and markets.
