In the true spirit of Christmas, EkoHotBlog has once again demonstrated its commitment to humanity and community service by spreading love and support across several communities in Epe Division through a well-coordinated Christmas giveaway programme.
The outreach, which runs from December 21 to December 24, covered communities including Igbooye, Ilara, Noforija, Poka, Odomola, Iraye, Okebalogun, Isale Agoro and Eredo, among others.
The initiative forms part of EkoHotBlog’s annual tradition of giving back to society, especially to vulnerable individuals and loyal supporters.
During the distribution exercise, food items and other essential support materials were shared with beneficiaries, bringing smiles and relief to many households amid the festive season.
Speaking during the outreach, representatives of EkoHotBlog described the initiative as a way of appreciating the community and reinforcing the values of love, kindness and togetherness that Christmas represents.
They noted that the platform remains committed not only to information dissemination but also to social responsibility.
One of the coordinators stated, “This season is about sharing love and putting smiles on faces.
At EkoHotBlog, we believe that the impact of media should go beyond news to touching lives positively, especially within our immediate communities.”
Some of the beneficiaries who received support during the exercise include Mrs. Oluwakorede Fatimo, Muritala Adewale, Mrs. Christiana Gabriel, Iya Elewa, Mrs. Dorcas Fabode, Iya Meta, Babatunde Opayemi, Mrs. Sherifat Aliu, Ogungbesan Mariam, Iya Bili, Jumoke Yusuf and Felix Fiyakoya, among others.
Several beneficiaries expressed gratitude to EkoHotBlog for the kind gesture, describing the support as timely and impactful, particularly in view of the current economic realities.
As the giveaway continues across more communities, EkoHotBlog has reaffirmed its resolve to remain a people-oriented media platform, strengthening its bond with residents of Epe and beyond through compassion, engagement and service.
