Prof. Modupe Adeola Adelabu, a former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State with extensive experience in educational administration, takes the helm of the NECO Governing Board.
She will work alongside the current Registrar, Prof. Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi, who retains his position.
For the NBTE, Prof. Babatunde Salako, a former Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research has been appointed Chairman, while Prof. Idris Bugaje begins his second and final five-year term as Executive Secretary.
The renewal of Prof. Chinwe Veronica Anunobi’s tenure as Director-General of the National Library is seen as a strategic nod to her ongoing digital reforms.
Since 2021, Anunobi has spearheaded the development of the National Virtual Library and the National Repository of Nigeria.

Her continued leadership is expected to facilitate the completion of the long-awaited National Library headquarters in Abuja.
