The sudden assault resulted in the tragic deaths of three security operatives, including a policeman and two soldiers attached to the institute’s security infrastructure, before reinforcement forces managed to push back the invading criminal elements.
Eyewitnesses and staff members residing within the high-security facility described the incident as a terrifying ordeal that sparked widespread panic.

According to internal sources, the swift and courageous resistance put up by the frontline guards at the gate effectively stalled the attackers, preventing them from penetrating deeper into the facility where high-profile public officials, senior military leaders, and civil servants are currently undergoing advanced leadership training.
Confirming the attack, the Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Alfred Alabo, issued an official statement expressing the command’s deep regret over the loss of the gallant officers.
He assured the public that the Commissioner of Police, CP Bassey Ewah, has ordered an immediate deployment of tactical reinforcements, intensifying routine patrols and security surveillance throughout the general Kuru area.
