President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday after spending several days in Lagos, where he combined political activities, official engagements and Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the presidential aircraft landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 5:17 p.m., according to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Upon arrival, the President was welcomed by key government officials, including Nyesom Wike, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Inspector-General of Police Tunji Disu.

During his stay in Lagos, Tinubu participated in a series of consultations and meetings with political leaders, government officials and stakeholders across different sectors.
As part of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities, he received visits from Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio and members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum led by its chairman, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The President also hosted leaders and candidates of the All Progressives Congress from Oyo and Lagos states, including Oyo governorship candidate Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli.
On Monday, Tinubu attended the 2026 International Fleet Review held at Eko Atlantic City as part of activities marking the 70th anniversary of the Nigerian Navy.

At the event, he commissioned three naval platforms—NNS Oloibiri, NNS Mambila and NNS Gurara.
The President also held a bilateral meeting with Romuald Wadagni, where both leaders discussed cooperation, regional integration and economic relations between Nigeria and Benin Republic.
Earlier in his Lagos visit, Tinubu participated in the APC nationwide direct primaries by casting his vote at his Ikoyi-Obalende ward and was subsequently declared the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 election after securing a decisive victory in the exercise.
