Eko Hot Blog reports that Hon. Tobun made the appeal while addressing residents, party faithful, and supporters during the ongoing endorsement and sensitisation tour across several communities within Epe Division.
Speaking during the tour, the lawmaker assured residents that the electricity challenge currently affecting Epe is already receiving serious attention from the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, residents should not allow political opponents use the temporary power challenge as a means of misleading the people against the APC-led government.
“Don’t allow anyone deceive you with the issue of electricity in Epe. It is a national problem, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is already addressing it seriously,” Tobun stated.
He further explained that major steps have already been taken to improve electricity supply across Epe Division, disclosing that the area is expected to benefit from the proposed 132/33 KVA power infrastructure project.
“By the time the work is completed, Epe will even be supplying electricity to other places around its axis. The issue of electricity has been resolved, and we should be expecting light any moment from now,” he added.
The sensitisation and endorsement tour, attracted large crowds of residents, market leaders, transport unions, artisans, youths, women groups, and APC supporters across different wards.
Residents who attended the engagement expressed optimism over the assurances given, noting that stable electricity remains important for businesses, security, and economic growth within Epe Division.
