Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have apprehended a woman suspected of aiding Boko Haram/ISWAP members during an operation in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the suspect, identified as 50-year-old Kellu Abba, was reportedly arrested at a military checkpoint at about 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to security sources cited by counter-insurgency platform Zagazola Makama, the woman was intercepted while allegedly transporting items intended for a suspected insurgent.

The report identified Abba as a resident of the Lawanti area of Baga town and stated that the supplies were allegedly meant for her son, Modu Mustapha, who is suspected to be operating within the Dumba axis.
Items said to have been recovered during the arrest included four packs of ready-to-use supplementary food, two hijabs and a wristwatch.
The suspect has since been taken into custody by the 196 Amphibious Battalion, where further investigations are ongoing.

Meanwhile, the report noted that although the security situation within the operational theatre remains relatively stable, authorities continue to monitor developments closely due to the unpredictable nature of insurgent activities.
It also stated that troops deployed in the area have maintained operational readiness and morale in ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.
