Mahmoud explained that the government recognizes young people as Nigeria’s future. Through skills development, entrepreneurship support, digital innovation, and job creation initiatives, the administration aims to prepare them for a competitive global economy.

The government’s goal is to turn young people into job creators, not just job seekers, which will reduce unemployment and strengthen socio-economic development.
The minister also assured the public that the FCT Administration, led by Nyesom Wike, fully supports the NYSC’s objectives and will provide an environment where corps members can thrive. She urged corps members to uphold the values of discipline, unity, and patriotism during their service year.
Mahmoud also encouraged them to contribute positively to their host communities and to act as ambassadors of peace and development for the nation.
