Trump took to social media to share messages he claimed were from French President Emmanuel Macron and NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.
In one post, he quoted Macron saying, “I do not understand what you are doing on Greenland,” and he also posted generated images of himself placing an American flag on the island.

Earlier, Trump warned eight European allies, including the UK and Denmark, of 10% tariffs if a deal over Greenland is not finalized.
