EKO HOT BLOG gathered that Zurich police revealed that last week a 59-year-old man from Schlieren near Zurich returned home to find his two Bolonka dogs missing and a letter demanding a hefty ransom for their release.

Instead of paying the ransom, the man whose identity remains confidential in accordance with Swiss privacy laws—promptly contacted the police. During the investigation, officers arrested a 30-year-old Norwegian man at Zurich Airport on Thursday, who is strongly suspected of involvement in the theft.
Further leads and cross-European cooperation led Polish authorities to detain a 38-year-old suspect, who was found to be connected to the case. The kidnapped Bolonka dogs were recovered and safely returned to their owner on Friday.
