Two Nigerian Council Of Registered Insurance Brokers Staff, One Other, Abducted In Ogun
EKO HOT BLOG reports that two staffers of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) have been abducted alongside another victim around the Isara axis of the road situated within Ogun State end of the expressway, Southwest region.
This newspaper gathered that the incident happened at around 6.45a.m on Sunday.
The victims were said to be on their way back to Lagos from Ibadan before the car in which they were travelling broke down around the Isara axis of Sagamu, Ogun State. While fixing the car, the gunmen emerged from the bush and marched them there.

The Executive Secretary of the NCRIB, Tope Adaramola said that those abducted were junior workers of the council.
The kidnappers have contacted the management demanding N20 million each for the victims to regain freedom.
The council spokeperson, Dele Ayeleso, said the kidnappers later made use of mobile phone of one of the victims to demand ransom and also treating that if they did not receive money, that victims will be killed immediately.
Kidnapping is among the biggest organised or gang crime in Nigeria and is currently a national security challenge. Between January 2015 and January 2022, no fewer than 5,000 persons were kidnapped across the country.
There is a common presumption that rogue Fulani cattle herders are behind every kidnapping in Nigeria. However, an October 2021 report by Premium Times revealed another pattern, involving people from other ethnic extractions.
