- Fury doubts the Joshua fight will happen
- The two camps disagree over the venue and money
- Negotiations are still ongoing despite the setback
Tyson Fury has raised fresh concerns over his proposed heavyweight showdown with Anthony Joshua, suggesting that the long-awaited all-British clash could collapse because of disagreements over money and the location of the fight.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Fury and Joshua had been expected to meet in November in what would rank among the biggest boxing events involving British heavyweights. However, negotiations have reportedly stalled over whether the contest should be staged in Britain or the United States.

Joshua and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, are reportedly pushing for the fight to take place in the United Kingdom in line with an earlier agreement, while Saudi-based organisers and other parties involved in the event favour Madison Square Garden in New York.
Speaking on social media, Fury blamed Joshua and Hearn for the uncertainty surrounding the proposed bout, claiming they were seeking improved financial terms.

Fury also criticised his long-time rival and suggested Joshua had previously lacked the determination to agree to the fight.
Hearn, however, has explained that staging the contest in the United States could create additional tax obligations for Joshua, potentially reducing the amount he would earn compared with a fight held in the UK.
The proposed bout is being supported by Saudi organisers and is expected to be streamed on Netflix, with New York among the venues under consideration. However, the final location has yet to be agreed.

Despite Fury’s latest comments, Hearn has previously insisted that discussions remain active and that Joshua remains interested in facing Fury.
The disagreement over the venue, financial arrangements and other terms has nevertheless created fresh uncertainty over whether the highly anticipated heavyweight encounter will eventually take place.
