EKO HOT BLOG reports that the incident occurred at the Allianz Arena earlier this month when Bayern scored twice in the closing stages of the second leg to secure qualification for the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League.
Following the late goals, supporters from the club’s ultras section surged over pitch side barriers in celebration and entered the perimeter area, trampling several photographers stationed near the touchline.
One photographer reportedly suffered a concussion, while another sustained a head laceration. Several others required medical attention after the incident.
UEFA confirmed that Bayern Munich would pay a total fine of 89,625 euros. The sanction includes 40,000 euros for spectator disturbances, 30,000 euros for displaying a banner critical of UEFA, 14,000 euros for blocked aisles, and 5,625 euros for the throwing of objects.
The German champions had faced the possibility of a partial stadium closure for their semi final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain, but the disciplinary body stopped short of imposing a supporter ban.
Bayern’s sporting director, Christoph Freund, had earlier expressed confidence that the fixture would still be played in front of a full crowd.
“We expect to be able to celebrate a football festival with a full stadium against Paris,” Freund said.

The decision means Bayern will retain full home support as they prepare for a crucial semi final clash, despite the financial penalty imposed for the incident.
