Job Title: Electrician / Technician

Job Description
- Ensures installs conduit and pipes to the warehouse electrical wires and cables.
- Ensures piping complies with Electrical codes installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
- Ensures that all the electric motors are in good-working conditions and no loose connections.
- Troubleshoot faults and carry out the necessary repairs/adjustments accordingly without much downtime.
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
- Communicate effectively and work harmoniously with other members of the staff team.
- In the case of major electrical faults and problems, report to the Electrical Officer/ Electrical Supervisor.
- Ensures proper connections and alignment of components.
- Ensures no naked and wet cables are connected to prevent shock and short circuit.
- Ensure all machine parts and bodies are properly earthed.
Requirements
- A minimum of ND in Electrical Engineering / Trade Test
- Minimum of 0 – 2 years experience in similar field
- Ability to read and understand control drawing.
- Knowledge of Domestic and industrial wiring
- Cabling and commissioning
- Installation of panel cable tray
- Good knowledge of electrical symbols and circuit diagrams.
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork.
- Able to follow instructions and production schedules.
