Job Title: Video Editor / Animator
Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Video Editors & Animators who are looking to gain experience and are willing to volunteer their expertise to support our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing:
- Assemble raw footage into a polished final product with seamless transitions and consistent pacing.
- Enhance video and audio quality for clarity and impact.
- Add graphics, text overlays, and other visual elements to improve content engagement.
- Perform color correction and grading to achieve the desired visual aesthetic.
- Organize and manage video files and assets efficiently.
- Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and technical specifications.
Animation:
- Create compelling 2D and/or 3D animations for various content needs, including explainer videos and social media.
- Develop storyboards and animation concepts based on project objectives.
- Design and animate characters, objects, and environments.
- Apply motion graphics and visual effects to enhance animations.
- Collaborate with the creative team to align animations with overall project goals.
Collaboration & Workflow:
- Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to meet project requirements.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
- Provide and incorporate feedback to improve final outputs.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth workflow operations.
- Export videos in multiple formats optimized for different platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- A Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or OND in Film Production, Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related discipline.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong skills in animation software like Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Blender.
- A solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, motion, and spacing.
- Experience with audio editing and mixing.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A strong portfolio showcasing video editing and animation work.
