Mrs. Johnson stated that the initiative is part of EPWA’s commitment to empowering women through practical skills, financial literacy, and mentorship. She further revealed that the association plans to sponsor some less privileged individuals and recognize elders who have significantly contributed to the development of the Epe community.
“Our mission goes beyond building a structure,” Mrs. Johnson said. “We want to build people, especially our young girls, to stand strong and confident in whatever path they choose.

Even with education, it is vital to have a skill that ensures independence and productivity.”
The vice president, Comrade Kenny Kadri Edu, added that the project aligns with the association’s broader vision of social impact and inclusive growth.
He expressed gratitude to the royal family for their continuous support of developmental initiatives within the community.
In her response, Olori Aribike Mulikat Adewale commended the association for their foresight and dedication to community development.
She described the vocational centre as a timely and noble project that will help shape the future of young women in Epe.
“I am deeply impressed by your vision,” Olori Aribike said. “Empowering young girls through skills and mentorship is one of the best ways to build a strong community.
However, as you train them, please continue to encourage our children to pursue education. Education remains the top notch of everything one has or does, it gives direction and purpose to every effort.”
The queen offered prayers for the success of the project and urged EPWA members to remain united in their pursuit of positive change in Epe Division.
