EDITOR’S PICKS
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the hybrid summit, which will feature both physical and virtual participation, is designed to create an avenue for sustainable diaspora investment and to boost Nigeria’s economic resurgence through strategic partnerships, innovation, and capital inflows.
According to the organizers, NDIS 2025 will serve as a premier platform where diaspora and local investors can interact with business owners, financial intermediaries, and government officials to facilitate viable investment projects across the country. The summit will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, exhibition halls, investment pitches, and private meeting sessions.
This year’s theme emphasises the role of diaspora investors in driving Nigeria’s post-oil diversification agenda, particularly through high-impact investments in emerging sectors. The three-day summit will include eight pitching sessions covering healthcare, education, agribusiness, creative industries and sports, telecoms/ICT/fintech, manufacturing, oil and gas, and infrastructure/real estate.

The Special Guest of Honour will be President Bola Tinubu, while the Chief Host is Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa (OON), Chairman/CEO of NiDCOM. Dr. Badewa Adejugbe-Williams, NDIS Summit Coordinator and Chair of the Planning Committee, will serve as the event coordinator. The keynote address will be delivered by Professor (Dr.) Bartholomew Nnaji, Chairman of Geometric Power Limited and former Minister of Power. Temi Popoola, Group Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Exchange Group, is also scheduled to speak at the event.
The summit will showcase investment-ready projects and development frameworks designed to make investing in Nigeria more attractive to the diaspora and foreign investors. It will also provide a platform for Nigerian startups and growth-oriented MSMEs seeking venture capital and equity participation in Nigeria-based ventures.
Organizers noted that participants stand to benefit from strengthened professional profiles, brand exposure, and access to targeted audiences. The summit offers opportunities to expand networks, generate new leads, meet key decision-makers and industry influencers, and showcase products and services to potential partners and sponsors.
NiDCOM stated that the 2025 edition will highlight Nigeria’s renewed commitment to economic transformation and provide a bridge for diaspora investors to connect with credible projects aligned with national development priorities.
