In a remarkable display of people-centered leadership, Hon. Ogunkelu Oluwadahunsi Sylvester, popularly known as Sketel, representing Epe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has renewed the enthusiasm of the electorate through his ongoing initiative tagged “Weekly Stomach Infrastructure.”
Eko Hot Blog reports that the program, which has run consistently for over 24 months, sees more than 1,000 constituents receiving an average of ₦5,000 weekly at his Ora residence.

This initiative, inspired by the APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda, has provided relief to many households within Epe Constituency II.
Speaking on the motive behind the project, Hon. Ogunkelu noted that the well-being of his constituents remains his utmost priority.

“Leadership means nothing if the people cannot feel your impact. My goal is to ensure that no loyal party member or resident goes to bed hungry,” he said.
According to him, the program is not just about financial assistance but also about strengthening the bond between the leadership and the grassroots.
“The strength of any political structure lies in its people, especially the loyal grassroots members who keep the engine running day and night,” he emphasized.
Over time, Hon. Sketel’s inclusive approach has also translated into job creation and community participation.
Through his periodic employment programs, many youths across various wards in Epe Constituency II have found meaningful engagement.
A beneficiary of the program, Mrs. Adebisi Aina, expressed gratitude for the initiative, saying, “This weekly support has been a great relief to families like mine. Hon. Sketel has truly shown that leadership is about caring for people.”
