President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerian judges to uphold the highest standards of integrity, warning that justice must never be influenced by corruption or personal interest, Eko Hot Blog reports.
Speaking on Monday at the All Nigeria Judges Conference in Abuja, the President stressed that the credibility of the nation’s justice system depends on the moral strength of those who serve on the bench.

Tinubu cautioned that the judiciary must never become a place where compromise is tolerated, insisting that no reform effort can succeed if judges abandon integrity.

“Let us be clear. No amount of reforms can succeed if integrity is compromised,” the President said.
“Justice must never be for sale. The bench must never be called a sanctuary of compromise. Corruption in any form or in any arm of government weakens the nation. So destroy corruption in the judiciary to the core,” Tinubu told the gathering of judges.
The President’s comments come amid renewed calls for deep judicial reforms and stronger accountability within the justice system.
