President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to restoring national security, saying his decision to cancel his trip to the G20 Summit in South Africa was to personally coordinate ongoing rescue operations across the country.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the President disclosed that all 38 worshippers abducted in Eruku, Kwara State, have now regained freedom following days of intensified military action.

He also confirmed that 51 students earlier declared missing from the Catholic school in Niger State had been recovered.
Tinubu noted that he has been receiving round-the-clock briefings from security commanders deployed to key hotspots nationwide.

According to him, his administration will not ease the pressure on criminal networks, stressing that Nigerians in every state deserve to live without fear.
He maintained that securing lives and property remains a top priority of his government, adding that he will not relent until safety is fully restored across the country.
