Morgan faces charges of conspiracy, armed robbery, attempted kidnapping, and unlawful possession of two AK-47 rifles.
According to the police charge sheet, he was apprehended at Lokpobiri’s residence alongside six accomplices who remain at large.
The state Commissioner of Police, Francis Idu, approved a 30-day remand order filed by Police Prosecutor Stella Jerry-Friday.
The detention, at Okaka Prison, is to facilitate the ongoing investigation and efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects.

Reports indicate that the suspects infiltrated the minister’s residence by blending with a crowd of visitors who came to pay homage.
A security alert tipped off military personnel stationed at the residence about armed individuals among the visitors.
“Due to the large crowd, soldiers could not open fire but ordered everyone to lie down. Only the arrested suspect, who carried the bag containing the weapons, was apprehended. The others escaped by mingling with the crowd,” a police source revealed.
As the suspects fled the scene, they reportedly fired shots, attacked a nearby filling station, and stole N400,000.
