The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has met with the Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, to strengthen partnerships in agriculture.
Ekohotblog gathers that the visit, held at the commissioner’s office in Alausa, Ikeja, was also attended by the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Engr. Abdullah Sesan Olowa.

The meeting focused on improving cooperation between the state government and the local councils to boost food production and ensure the success of agricultural projects.
Discussions were centered on enhancing existing programs and creating opportunities for food security and agricultural tourism.
Otunba Wale Anomo spoke about Ikosi-Ejinrin’s growing importance in agriculture, mentioning the Lagos Food and Logistics Hub and the Feedlot and Cattle Fattening Center in Igbodu.
He said these projects will make Ikosi-Ejinrin a key location for food production and tourism in Lagos State.
“These projects are very important for the future of our LCDA. They will create jobs, promote agriculture, and bring development to our area,” Anomo said.
“We are grateful to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, for selecting Ikosi-Ejinrin for these projects. We promise to fully support and maximize the opportunities they bring.”
The chairman also praised Commissioner Abisola Olusanya for her hard work and open-minded approach, which has made it easier for local governments to collaborate with the state on agricultural development.
