The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Epe Local Branch, in collaboration with the Academic Excellence Initiative (AEI), successfully organized the WAEC Sensitization Seminar 1.0 on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

The seminar brought together students, teachers, and distinguished facilitators who provided valuable insights on effective exam preparation techniques.
The event was graciously hosted by the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government and the H.O.D. Education, demonstrating the administration’s commitment to educational development in the community.
Speaking on the success of the event, Com Moibi Ibrahim,the Coordinator of NYCN Epe Branch, expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to the seminar’s success.
He emphasized the council’s dedication to empowering young people through educational initiatives.
“Our goal is to empower the youth of Epe with the knowledge and skills needed to excel academically.
We believe that education is the key to unlocking potential and fostering a brighter future.
This seminar is just one of the many initiatives we have lined up to support our students,” Comrade Lawal stated.
The facilitators delivered impactful presentations, focusing on exam strategies, time management, and effective study techniques.
Their insights resonated with the students, providing them with the necessary tools to excel in their WAEC examinations.
One of the facilitators, experienced education consultant, highlighted the importance of strategic preparation. She remarked,
“Success in WAEC exams is not just about hard work but smart work.
Our aim is to guide these students to study strategically and manage their time effectively.”

The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government,Hon Princess surah Animashaun also expressed his support for educational programs, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment.
