The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has received a major boost in his reelection bid following a meeting with the 96 Chairmen of Community Development Associations (CDAs) and the Community Development Committee (CDC) executives within the council area.
Ekohotblog reports that the meeting, led by the CDC Chairman, Hon. Yakub Akingbade, centered on reaffirming support for Hon. Akinloye’s leadership and his plans for continued development.

During the gathering, Hon. Akinloye highlighted his administration’s achievements over the past three and a half years.
“For the first time in the history of Eredo LCDA, we celebrated Community Day, fostering unity and cultural pride,” he stated.
He also showcased key infrastructure projects, including the construction of a block of three classrooms at OdoMola Junior Secondary School, the construction of Lawal Street road, the rehabilitation of Imokun road, and the erection of perimeter fences in public primary schools.
“We are committed to ensuring that our students learn in a safe and conducive environment,” Akinloye added.
Highlighting his commitment to education, he remarked, “We distributed written materials to our students to support their academic pursuits.”
He also noted the recognition of two CDAs in Eredo, which received prestigious awards from the state government.
“This is proof of our ongoing community development efforts and our dedication to making Eredo LCDA a model community,” he said.
Hon. Akinloye assured the attendees of his continued support for the CDC, announcing an increase in their monthly allowances.
“We recognize the crucial role the CDC plays in community development, and we are committed to supporting their welfare,” he affirmed.
He further revealed that the ongoing construction of the Eredo LCDA Agency Building would be completed within the next two weeks, providing the CDC with office space.
In response, the CDC Chairman, Hon. Yakub Akingbade, expressed gratitude for Hon. Akinloye’s dedication to the community’s growth.
“Hon. Akinloye has shown exemplary leadership and a genuine commitment to the progress of Eredo LCDA,” Akingbade said.
“We are fully behind his reelection bid, as we believe in his vision for continued development.”
