Arsenal played out a 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday, sealing a commanding 9-3 aggregate victory to book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals, where they will face Real Madrid.
Having dismantled the Dutch champions 7-1 in the first leg, the Gunners had effectively wrapped up the tie before the return fixture at the Emirates.
Despite making seven changes from their weekend draw against Manchester United, Mikel Arteta’s side struck early, with Oleksandr Zinchenko finding the net in the sixth minute.

PSV responded in the 18th minute through Croatian veteran Ivan Perisic, who rifled a powerful shot past David Raya.
However, Arsenal reclaimed the lead before halftime as Declan Rice headed home a pinpoint cross from Raheem Sterling.
The visitors continued to fight for pride after last week’s heavy defeat and found an equalizer in the 70th minute when Moroccan youth international Couhaib Driouech calmly chipped the ball over the advancing Raya.
PSV pressed for a late winner but couldn’t break through, as Arsenal comfortably progressed to the last eight.
The North London club, still chasing their first-ever Champions League title, now turn their focus to a blockbuster clash with 14-time winners Real Madrid.
