EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a post on his Truth Social platform on Sunday, Trump insisted that he played a significant but underappreciated role in global diplomacy, saying, “I do a lot, and never get credit.” He added, “Iran and Israel should make a deal, and will make a deal.”
Trump cited his earlier diplomatic efforts, claiming he helped ease tensions between India and Pakistan through strategic trade leverage, as well as brokering talks between Egypt and Ethiopia over the Nile River dam dispute, and cooling hostilities between Serbia and Kosovo.
“During my first term, Serbia and Kosovo were going at it hot and heavy… I stopped it,” he wrote. “There is peace, at least for now, because of my intervention, and it will stay that way!”
Trump also criticised current U.S. President Joe Biden, accusing his administration of making “very stupid decisions” that have undermined prospects for long-term peace. He pledged to resolve the crisis if re-elected, stating, “I will fix it, again!”
His comments followed heightened military action between Israel and Iran. After Israel launched airstrikes that reportedly killed senior Iranian military figures, Iran responded by firing ballistic missiles into Israeli territory, killing at least three people, according to Israeli officials.
Despite the flare-up, Trump maintained that diplomatic efforts are ongoing behind the scenes. “Many calls and meetings are taking place. Peace is possible,” he noted.

The former president concluded by reaffirming his confidence: “The PEOPLE understand.”
