A young girl named Faith from Benue State was fatally stabbed by suspected robbers on Friday along Mobile Road in the Ajah area of Lagos, Eko Hot Blog reports.
Faith, who hailed from Itakpa Ito in the Obi Local Government Area of Benue State, had reportedly visited her boyfriend earlier that day and was on her way home when the incident occurred.

According to eyewitnesses, a group of men confronted her and tried to steal her phone and handbag. During the struggle, one of the attackers stabbed her in the neck with a sharp object, believed to be a knife.

She was left bleeding by the roadside and was later found lifeless by passersby who notified security officials. Her body has been taken to a nearby mortuary.
As of now, the Lagos State Police Command has not released an official statement, but investigations are ongoing to locate and arrest those responsible.
