According to SaharaReporters Quadri was last seen near the church premises at LASU 2, where Babaniyeh leads the Ileri Oluwa Parish.
According to a family source, Quadri was on a phone call with his girlfriend at the time of his disappearance. “He mentioned he was near the church when someone from inside called him that was the last time anyone heard from him,” the source revealed.
The police have taken the pastor into custody as part of their ongoing investigation, yet Babaniyeh has not admitted any wrongdoing or disclosed Quadri’s whereabouts.
A YouTuber known as Authentic Auntie Adunni (Triple A) posted that, based on the girlfriend’s account, police visited the church and the pastor denied having seen Quadri that day or knowing his location.
Further claims emerged that a review of Quadri’s bank records showed a transfer of N1.5 million from his account to Babaniyeh’s on the day he vanished, with additional transfers noted to the pastor’s child.
The YouTuber alleged that the investigation later revealed Quadri had been killed, parts of his body removed, and his remains buried within the church compound, even implicating the pastor’s son in the incident.
