Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has clinched a landslide victory in the just concluded Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) chairmanship election, polling a total of 25,017 votes against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate who managed only 424 votes.

In his post-election remarks, Hon. Akinloye thanked the people of Eredo for their trust and support.
“This victory belongs to the people. It is a mandate for continuity, development, and inclusive governance,” he said.
Party loyalists and community stakeholders gathered to celebrate the massive win, which many described as a validation of Hon. Akinloye’s performance during his previous tenure.
Residents in wards such as Poka, Noforija, Odomola, Ilara, and Ibowon came out in large numbers to cast their votes, expressing confidence in the APC-led administration.
“This is the result of hard work, accountability, and accessibility,” a community leader in Noforija stated.
Observers and political analysts noted that the margin of victory further cements APC’s dominance in the Epe Division and signals continued support for its grassroots developmental policies.
