- Tinubu to Honour 210 Outstanding Corps Members
- The award ceremony will hold on Tuesday at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa at 11 a.m.
- Corp members who suffered various degrees of permanent disabilities will also be honoured
At least 210 corps members will be recognised by President Bola Tinubu during the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Honours Award, celebrating outstanding service from the 2020 to 2023 batches.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the announcement was made in a statement on Saturday in Abuja by Emeka Mgbemena, the NYSC Director of Media.

He stated that the award ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
According to Mgbemena, 200 of the awardees are former corps members who distinguished themselves across the NYSC’s four key areas: the orientation course, primary assignment, community development service, and the conclusion of their service.

“Others that will also be honoured by the president under the NYSC Hope Alive Initiative are 10 ex-corps members that suffered various degrees of permanent disabilities while serving their fatherland,” he said.
He added that the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, and the NYSC management team are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the award recipients and other guests at the event.
