The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m., according to Mr. Salau Hammed, Ota Divisional Commander of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE).
Hammed said the Camry, reportedly speeding, lost control and collided with the other two vehicles, causing injuries to three passengers—two men and a woman.

“The injured were quickly taken to Adetutu Hospital in the Ilepa area for medical treatment,” he added.
This crash underscores ongoing challenges on the expressway, where many vehicles operate without proper registration or roadworthiness certification. Hammed warned that such practices increase the likelihood of accidents.
