Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, Member representing Alimosho Constituency 02 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, and Barrister Ayuba Adele, Member representing Alimosho Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, have jointly facilitated the road grading and rehabilitation of Adexon Aminat Borge Street in Akesan community.

The project, initiated by Barrister Ayuba during his tenure as an Executive Cabinet Member in Lagos State, received Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s approval under the supervision of Hon. Joseph.
“This is a demonstration of how collaboration between the legislature and executive can bring real change to the people,” Hon. Joseph said during a Stakeholder’s Engagement held yesterday by the Lagos State Office of Urban Development, in partnership with the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA) and Igando-Ikotun LCDA.
He praised the Governor for his swift intervention, noting that “the project will improve connectivity, ease traffic, and increase property values in the area.”
The 12-month road construction plan will feature a 13-metre right of way and an 8-metre carriageway, supervised by LASURA and its consultant, Advance Engineering Consultant.
Tpl/Esv Animashaun Oladimeji Ayinde, LASURA’s General Manager, represented by Tpl Lateef Lawal, said, “This project is in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S+ agenda, which focuses on sustainable infrastructure and development for all residents of Lagos.”
Present at the event were the Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, Vice Chairman Hon. Prince Adewunmi Dada, Legislative Leader Hon. Tajudeen Ayodele Olorunfemi, Councillors, HRM Oba (Dr.) Nojeemdeen Abidemi Aberejo, APC Party Chairman, CDC Chairman, and other stakeholders.
