To reduce disruptions, a traffic diversion plan has been introduced. Motorists heading towards Oshodi are advised to take the Ojota Slip Road to Ikorodu Road inbound Anthony (by Taxi Park).

Those going to Victoria Island should use the Ojota Slip Road to Ikorodu Road inbound Anthony (via Town Planning Way), link Gbagada, and connect to the Third Mainland Bridge. Alternatively, they may take Ikorodu Road to Funsho Williams Avenue and onward to Eko Bridge.
From Ikeja and its surroundings, motorists can use Maryland to Ikorodu Road/Funsho Williams Avenue and then connect to Eko Bridge, or proceed through Oshodi via Ikorodu Road inbound Anthony.
On Sunday, the General Manager of LASTMA, Mr. Olalekan Bakare Oki, urged motorists to fully comply with traffic regulations during the period. He assured that LASTMA officers have been deployed to maintain traffic flow, enforce order, and respond to emergencies.
LASTMA has also stationed both mini and heavy duty towing vehicles along diversion routes and major intersections to quickly address breakdowns, accidents, or other incidents. Motorists are encouraged to report emergencies using the agency’s hotline: 080000527862.
The government reassured residents that the partial closure is part of its traffic management strategy to deliver durable infrastructure for the benefit of Lagosians.
It further appealed to motorists to show patience, caution, and civic responsibility throughout the rehabilitation period.
