Veteran musician Zaaki Azzay has announced his resignation as the second vice president of the Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN).
To protect his integrity and reputation, singer Zaaki Azzay has completely withdrawn from all PMAN activities, citing an ongoing dispute over the association’s land in Abuja, Eko Hot Blog reports.

Zaaki explained that such controversies were the very reason he had earlier chosen to step down from his position.

The singer clarified that he has no involvement in any dealings linked to the association. He stated, “For the avoidance of doubt, I wish to state clearly that I am not involved in any unauthorized activities in relation to PMAN.
Going forward, I kindly request that my privacy be respected, as I have completely withdrawn and distanced myself from all PMAN-related activities.”
