In a bid to strengthen democratic participation at the grassroots, the Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has organized a training program for personnel who will be involved in the upcoming voters’ registration exercises.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the training focused on equipping the participants with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to carry out the registration process effectively and seamlessly.

Attendees were also trained on handling registration equipment and guiding residents through the exercise.
The Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), emphasized the importance of the training, noting that the council is committed to ensuring credible and hitch-free registration in the community.
“This initiative is part of our collective responsibility to strengthen democracy at the grassroots. I urge all trained personnel to carry out their duties with honesty, fairness, and dedication,” he stated.
One of the participants expressed appreciation, saying, “This training has given us confidence and practical knowledge. We are now prepared to assist residents effectively during the registration exercise.”
