The Lagos State Government (LASG) has announced that it will begin repair works on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, a major thoroughfare in the state.
According to Eko Hot Blog, the maintenance exercise will start tonight, Monday, September 15, 2025, and continue through Sunday, September 21, 2025. The work will specifically target the section of the road from Bonny Camp Junction.

According to the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the government will carry out the repairs at night to minimize disruption to traffic flow.
The work will take place nightly between 9 pm and 6 am, this strategy aims to reduce the impact on daily commuters during peak hours.
Commissioner Osiyemi appealed to motorists to exercise patience and cooperate with traffic management personnel during the period.
He emphasized the importance of following instructions from officials on the ground to ensure smooth passage and the successful completion of the road repairs.
