Rapper Cardi B is expecting a child with her American football player boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, she announced, putting an end to weeks of rumors.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the singer, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, confirmed the exciting news in an interview with CBS, telling the outlet, “I’m excited. I’m happy.”
Cardi B and the New England Patriots wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, publicly announced their relationship earlier this year, months after the rapper split from her husband and fellow rapper, Offset, who is the father of her three previous children.
This new chapter for the couple comes at a busy time for Cardi B, who is currently promoting her new album, “Am I the Drama,” which releases tomorrow.
The 32-year-old singer shared her feelings on managing her busy schedule, which also included recently being cleared of assault in a civil trial. “I feel very strong.
I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work,” she said. “But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, me and my man, we’re very supportive ofof each other.”
She also revealed that she had a panic attack two weeks ago due to the pressure of her album rollout.
