EKO HOT BLOG reports that the sculpture, which portrays both men smiling and holding hands as they appear to walk toward the Washington Monument, was placed on display early Tuesday morning.
The installation, created from foam, wood, resin, and wire, was reportedly unveiled to mark “Friendship Month.”
The anonymous artist collective behind the piece, known only as The Secret Handshake, stated that the statue is meant to highlight the “friendship of these real men.”
A representative from the group explained that, “It’s about celebrating what they shared a real bond.”
Underneath the statue are three plaques. Two of them include sections of a controversial birthday message allegedly written by Trump to Epstein on his 50th birthday.
The letter, made public by the House Oversight Committee this month, reportedly contains a sketch of a naked woman and is signed by Trump himself.
Trump has strongly denied any link to the letter or the drawing, saying, “No authentic letter or drawing exists.”
In reaction to the claims, Trump has also launched a $10 billion lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal, which initially broke the story.
The artwork is scheduled to remain on display until Saturday.
