Speaking at the inauguration, the Chairman of the Council and former Senator representing Ondo South, Pastor Yele Omogunwa, pledged total commitment to the president’s re-election.
Omogunwa assured that the council members would harness their political experience, influence, and networks to ensure an overwhelming victory for Tinubu.
“We are determined to work tirelessly in every ward and local government to mobilise, engage, and inspire our people towards sustaining the Renewed Hope Agenda,” he said.

He commended Tinubu’s first two years in office as “thoughtful, courageous, and life-changing,” but stressed that Nigeria’s challenges required continuity. “The issues cannot be solved in one term. Nigerians must support President Tinubu for another four years to consolidate progress,” he added.
Inaugurating the council on behalf of AMG Convener, the Director General, Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla, said the development marked a milestone in the group’s mission to consolidate support and promote inclusive political participation in Ondo State.
“This Council represents wisdom, stability, and the highest level of experience within our political family. We trust you to strengthen AMG’s outreach and ensure every community in Ondo feels the impact of the Renewed Hope vision,” Asagunla stated.
Also speaking, former Ondo State lawmaker and deputy coordinator of AMG Women’s Wing, Olasehinde Vincentee, hailed the inclusion of women in the leadership structure, pledging that women would bring their strength and organisational skills to ensure success.
