President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received commendation from the Nigerian Community in Turkey for his intervention that restored democratic governance in Rivers State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement issued on Friday, the group’s president, Prince Emre Magbo, said Tinubu’s decisive move has created an enabling environment for Governor Siminalayi Fubara to focus squarely on development and service delivery.

Magbo hailed the president as a peace advocate, noting that the lifting of the six-month suspension underscored Tinubu’s commitment to democratic values.

“The president’s actions have shown that democracy can thrive even in difficult circumstances,” he said.
He further urged Governor Fubara to consolidate the newly brokered peace and channel his administration’s energy toward the progress and betterment of Rivers State.
