Eredo Local Council Development Area, under the purposeful leadership of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, is set to commence another major infrastructural project on Monday, October 20th, 2025, with the reconstruction of Odogbawojo Road, rehabilitation of critical sections of the drainage system, and installation of solar-powered street lights within the community.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the project, which spans 700 metres in length and 10 metres in width, will run from Scratch Entrance off the Ijebu-Ode/Epe Expressway to Prince Seriki Aliu Junction in Ward K1.

The initiative reflects the council’s continued dedication to improving road connectivity, enhancing community safety, and promoting sustainable development across Eredo LCDA.
Speaking on the forthcoming project, Hon. Akinloye appealed for public understanding and cooperation during the construction period.

He said, “We urge residents and motorists to kindly bear with us as we execute this vital project. Temporary inconveniences are sometimes necessary sacrifices for lasting comfort, safety, and community progress.”
The council boss reaffirmed that the initiative aligns with his administration’s vision to deliver tangible and people-centered development projects that directly improve the quality of life of residents.
