EKO HOT BLOG reports that Wike made this known on Monday during the commissioning of the newly completed engineering infrastructure in Wuye District, Abuja.
He stated that the initiative aims to demonstrate the administration’s commitment to education and counter claims that President Bola Tinubu’s government is focused solely on road and physical infrastructure.
The minister said the upcoming exercise would allow Nigerians, especially critics on social media, to see the significant progress recorded under the current administration.
“We will take 20 days to show Nigerians, to show social media presidents, what we have done in the education sector. We are not going to rush. We will shock them with what we have achieved,” Wike stated.
According to him, the FCT Administration has implemented several reforms in the education sector, including the renovation of schools, construction of classrooms, and improvement in teachers’ welfare.
He emphasized that the focus on education is part of President Tinubu’s broader vision for inclusive development, adding that the FCT government is working to ensure quality education for all residents.

“I have told the Chief of Staff that we are going to end our flag-offs and commissioning, at least for now. Twenty days is not two days, so after that, we will take a rest and come back to focus on education,” Wike added.
