Lagos Launches Governor’s Milestone Quiz to Test Students’ Knowledge

The Lagos State Records and Archives Bureau (LASRAB) has announced plans to launch the Governor’s Milestone Quiz Competition, an online knowledge challenge designed to test students’ understanding of Lagos State and reward outstanding participants.

Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement made available to journalist, LASRAB said the initiative organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Strategy aims to expand students’ awareness of the achievements and developmental strides of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

According to the statement, the quiz will also highlight historical and landmark events across the five divisions of Lagos State, fostering civic awareness and academic curiosity among young people.

“The quiz competition, which will run online for four weeks starting from November 1, 2025, is designed to promote awareness, inspire young people, and encourage academic excellence,” the statement read.

Interested participants have been urged to visit the programme’s official website to register and access relevant materials that will prepare them for the competition.

Winners who correctly answer the highest number of multiple-choice questions within the allotted time each week will be announced and rewarded.

Among the prizes to be won are computer tablets, headsets, smart wristwatches, tote bags, and several consolation gifts.

LASRAB added that the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to promote knowledge-sharing, celebrate Lagos’ progress, and inspire future leaders to contribute to the state’s continued growth.
