The Dollar to Naira exchange rate continues to fluctuate as demand for foreign currency remains high in Nigeria’s informal market. As of Friday, 24th October 2025, traders in the Lagos Parallel Market, also known as the black market or Aboki FX, have reported slight variations in the buying and selling prices of the U.S. dollar.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to reports from Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in Lagos, the dollar is being sold at ₦1500 and bought at ₦1485 in the black market. This represents a slight difference compared to rates recorded earlier in the week, reflecting continued pressure on the naira amid increased forex demand.

Meanwhile, at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) window, the official exchange rate remains more stable. The CBN reported a highest rate of ₦1463 and a lowest rate of ₦1455 on Friday.
