- President to seek divine guidance and remain vigilant
- American government doesn’t want you in 2027
- he claimed the U.S. would form a “major opposition” to Tinubu’s re-election
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has warned of an alleged international conspiracy targeting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, claiming that the United States government does not want him to remain in power beyond 2027.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that Ayodele issued the caution in a statement on Sunday through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, urging the President to seek divine guidance and remain vigilant against what he described as “foreign-backed plans to destabilize” his government.

According to the cleric, recent comments attributed to Washington concerning Nigeria’s political climate point to a potential confrontation that could threaten the stability of the current administration.

“The American government doesn’t want you in 2027,” Ayodele reportedly said. “There are plots to destabilize your government ahead of the next election. Don’t take this lightly; pray, act wisely, and be alert.”
He warned that growing global criticism over insecurity and alleged religious persecution in Nigeria could be used as grounds for foreign interference, adding that negligence might lead to political unrest capable of shaking national unity.
Ayodele also alleged that certain domestic actors may be working with external forces to weaken the President’s political strength before the 2027 elections.

“There are insiders collaborating with outside powers. Strengthen your administration and avoid surprises,” he cautioned.
The prophet, known for his frequent political and social predictions, reiterated a similar warning earlier in April, where he claimed the U.S. would form a “major opposition” to Tinubu’s re-election plans.
As of the time of this report, the Presidency has not issued any official response to Ayodele’s claims, which come amid ongoing diplomatic friction between Abuja and Washington over human rights concerns and rising insecurity in parts of the country.
