Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci has officially received her second Guinness World Record (GWR) plaque for cooking the world’s largest pot of jollof rice.

The new honour comes just over a year after her first record, achieved in May 2023, when she completed a 93-hour, 11-minute cooking marathon, earning global recognition.

With these two achievements, Hilda becomes Nigeria’s first chef to hold multiple Guinness World Records, cementing her place as one of Africa’s most celebrated culinary figures.
Sharing her excitement on social media, Hilda posted photos of both plaques, describing the moment as a testament to faith, perseverance, and national pride.
“Your plaques are finally here! Two records, two plaques, one story of faith, fire, and history,” she wrote. “Twice, God showed up for me. Twice, we made history for Nigeria.”

She also expressed gratitude to her sponsor, Gino, for supporting a story that “reached over 5 billion people” and inspired millions across the world.
In another post, she quoted Isaiah 61:7, saying, “Instead of shame, you will receive a double portion. Instead of disgrace, you will rejoice in your inheritance… Everlasting joy will be yours.”
Hilda’s double achievement not only highlights her culinary talent but also reinforces Nigeria’s growing influence on the global food scene.
