Popular Big Brother Naija reality show star and comedian, Aderombi Adedayo Martins, popularly known as DeeOne, has emerged as the BOOT Party candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I.
Eko Hot Blog reports that DeeOne secured the party’s ticket after winning the primary election, officially positioning himself for the 2027 general election.

Reacting to his emergence, the reality TV star expressed gratitude to the party leadership and members for the confidence reposed in him, while pledging to serve the people diligently if elected.
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday night, DeeOne thanked the BOOT Party for supporting his candidacy and assured residents of Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I of his commitment to people-centred leadership.
“I want to thank my party, BOOT Party, for the confidence in voting for me to emerge the winner of the primary election for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I.
“To Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I, come 2027, by the grace of God, I will be your worker and not your boss,” he stated.
His emergence marks a significant step in his transition from entertainment into active politics as preparations for the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum across the country.
